A Survey published in the Times has found that less than half of accident or medical negligence victims would feel comfortable making a claim online without assistance from a lawyer. In a survey of over 500 claimants only 43% said they would 'submit a claim through an online portal and and complete the process without a lawyer'.

Just For Kids Law have launched their 'School Exclusions Hub' an incredible new resource, with a wealth of information for professionals and community organisations supporting children and their families through challenges to school exclusions.
International firm Herbert Smith Freehills has formed a specialist technology team, consisting of senior lawyers, solicitors as well as in-house and external tech experts. The team will advise on the likes of artificial intelligence and robotics, focusing particularly on 'smart contracts'. The firm claimed that most contracts will be smart in the future so solicitors need to be prepared.
