All Rise for Justice

Published 01/04/2019

The United States take a step forward in supporting joint campaign for change in their civil justice system.

All Rise for Civil Justice is a new project initiated by Voices for Civil Justice which is a national communications initiative in the United States that taps the awareness-raising power of the media to spotlight the critical role of civil legal aid in assuring fairness for all in the justice system

All Rise for Civil Justice is the campaign to fix the US civil justice system so it works for everyone. It centres the stories of people with life-changing problems that need legal solutions, and the advocates working to help them.

All Rise are supporting those who share a common goal of civil justice reform by providing a platform for those affected, both personally and professionally, to share their stories and enlighten others. Their websites incorporate videos; photo essays; animations; mapping and other media – this provides a more realistic way of telling peoples stories who are suffering from civil injustice and are in need of help.

To help spread the word the project has developed a toolkit to help advocates raise awareness of the issues affecting people and campaign for change. These tools include graphics and examples of best practice.
