Equally Ours training: Communications for Change 1 (May, June, September)

Published 23/07/2019

Equally Ours is organising a day's free training in strategic communications and techniques. The training is aimed at communicators and campaigners working on inequality or poverty - using techniques from behavioural science, it is targeted at teaching as how to connect our causes to the things the public care about most, and move the needle on public attitudes.

Strategic communications uses values-based framing to create messages that change hearts and minds. The workshop will provide participants with a broad grounding in strategic communications theory, through real world examples and exercises.

These workshops are particularly aimed at small voluntary sector organisations (VSOs) working in London, and those with lived experience of poverty or inequality are particularly encouraged to attend.

Two sessions have already taken place on May 17, June 18 and the final one will be happening on September 17 in London - 10 am to 4 pm.

There are 20 places available for each date - sign up on the Equally Ours website!
