Legal Support Advisory Group

Published 12/06/2019 by Stacey Lamb

The Ministry of Justice Legal Support Advisory Group aims to sit at the centre of the forums and boards within the judiciary, advice sector and legal professions. Following the group's first meeting, you can share your response to the questions discussed.

As set out in the Legal Support Action Plan published earlier this year, a Legal Support Advisory Group has been created by the Ministry of Justice, to act as a central point for the groups across the judiciary, advice sector and legal professions.

At the group’s first meeting in April this year, the Ministry of Justice began gathering views and insight from members on areas of challenge and opportunity. These were captured through a series of key questions, designed to encourage discussion.

As a LIP Network member, if you would like to share your perspective with the group and the Ministry of Justice, you can email your response to the Legal Support Policy Team at [email protected], using the subject line “Advisory Group - LIPN member response”.

Alternatively, you can send your response to [email protected] and we can collate and submit responses on your behalf.
